Our Goal

Wellness for Teachers WFT was created to support teachers who work tirelessly
and effortlessly in the field of education. Our main goal is to empower teachers with

knowledge and tools to help them achieve Wellness in their professional, financial,

physical and emotional lives.

Wellness for Teachers, seeks to promote wellness in the whole person and illuminate soul-energy so that our teachers are effective at performing the greatest task on earth- Building our Tomorrow. We implore the assistance of the community to use their resources to reward teachers for their diligent

work and sacrifices in an everyday way.

Wellness for Teachers desires that the teaching field be elevated to its former

stature of nobility and esteem but this can happen only when we as a community

and nation give teachers the respect and honor that they deserve and have earned.

Thomasine Hamilton, Founder

Thomasine Frederick Hamilton has been in the education field for over 11 years. She has
taught in both the private and public education systems. Thomasine currently teaches at
Pinewood Elementary, a Title 1 School in Orlando FL where she has been for the past
five years. During this time she has been nominated for Teacher of the Year at Pinewood
and has received recognition for her work with students who struggle academically.

Thomasine has also been involved in Ladies of Distinction, an organization
founded to assist young girls become self confident, successful young ladies.
She has a drive and a passion for teaching which has allowed her to impact her
world for the greater good.

Thomasine has noticed over the past several years and especially as the economy
has “shifted” that education has taken a back seat to other issues in our nation.

Teachers in particular have struggled with lack of job security and finances all
while being on the front lines of our nation’s future. Thomasine has seen her
fellow colleagues give and give without being duly rewarded for their sacrifices
and hard work.Out of the passion for teaching and the desire to see teacher's
rewarded for their faithfullness to educating and empowering children to be all that
 they are created to be, Wellness For Teacher's was birth.
